Default Question about tires

Ok so I have a 98 5.4 4x4 what would be the minim lift I would nees to clear 36" tires also I can get a good deal on military tires but they are for a.16.5" rim would I be able to strech.them on my 17".rims ?

ok, first off DO NOT EVER "STRECH" A TIRE!! even though i highly doubt you could..

as far as the lift i've seen people use aftermarket torsion keys and tuck 35's or you can do a 3" body lift and fit 35's no problem now for 36's you would probably need to do the BL for them to fit ok, i have a 3" body and 1" torsion bar lift with 35's now but i could fit 37's

check out treadwrite retreads they are pretty cheap compared to new tires, and i have heard nothing but good about them

1500 miles ago I put some treadwright tires on. For the price I'm very happy with them.
