Question about tire sizes
I need some new tires. I have 33's right now. I am getting new wheels too. I have 285/70/17. My question is this, can I go with a tire that isn't as wide or tall? I don't want it to look stupid. I have a 3 inch lift on my truck. I guess I am trying to save on the cost of tires. I would like to get a bigger size rim. I would like a 18" or 19" rim if the cost isn't that much more. I guess I don't really know much about tire sizes.
You can go with whatever you want for a rim size, as long as it's equal or greater than 16". But you'll probably max out at 22" from aftermarket rims. And you can get anything from like a 235 up to a 295 running stock. All depends on how much you want to pay for it. Just browse around.
What kind of lift is it? 3 inch body lift?
I have 3 inch body lift and fit 35s. Rims size wont matter if you are getting both wheels and tires. Size is just personal preference. They do not make 19" rims.

I think its a Trail Master lift. I don't remember the name off hand. It is a suspension lift. I am looking at getting black rockstars. I would like a larger size rim. Currently on my truck I have 16.5 inch rims. I was quoted a price on 17 inch rims. I would like a bigger rim.
