Arrow Question About Replacing Upper Control Arm

I replaced the Right Upper Control Arm on my truck. I read that I shouldn't tighten the mounting bolts for it till the truck is back on it's wheels since I didn't mark the position of them before removing the old arm.
My question is how loose should I leave them till then?

I also replaced the steering knuckle & read the same about tightening the axle nut.
So again, how loose should I leave it?

You can see where the bolts where try to put them back and get them tight. Then must go get alinement right a way.

Doesn't really matter how loose, dont crank them down till you lower it, just snug. You can also put a jack under the knuckle and raise it a bit, then tighten the bolts.

Well...I did it that way & took it for a drive in the neighborhood but it's too far out of alignment to go any further.

Any suggestions on how to get it adjusted well enough to be able to drive it to an alignment shop?

Look at the both tires with steering wheel straight tires should be straight as well. If not you need to see where there are pointing at and adjust then. My guess you need to adjust tie rob ends. You can measure the tire on the front and the same spot on the back and adjust the tie rob ends the the are the same. But you can't do just one tie rob need to adjust both.

I torqued mine off of the ground and it actually aligned mine closer than what it was. *shrug*
