HOW CAN I TELL IF MY F150 CAME WITH A REMOTE. I BOUGHT THIS TRUCK USED BUT DIDNT COME WITH THE REMOTE TO UNLOCK THE DOORS. IT HAS POWER LOCKS AND WINDOWS. THANKS

 

Check the owners manual there is a procedure on how to program new remotes. I am assuming if it goes into the program mode you should have the feature.

put your key into the ignition, turn it to the first position(not start) and back to off, do this 8 times and the door locks will lock. some models the doors will lock before you reach 8 times, what ever the cycle, that would be the number of times needed to program your truck. I got my lock fob from (remotesandkeys.com) they offered new and reconditioned ones with a price of 29.oo new and 19.00 reconditioned. My reconditioned one works great. They offer waranties on both. shipped mine in 3 days! cant beat service like that. Dealer want 90.00!
