so every other staurday night they have sands drags and mud bogs at the motocross track in surprise, az (speedworld) its called glamis status so its just a big party and hangout. taking my truck down the mud bogs obviously has a soft start off, ive done it in 4hi and does better but what are peoples opinions about 4lo speed reached is possibly 40? just wanna know some advice or experience from this.

 

i wouldnt run 4 lo if ur going for speed... other wise ur ripping thru gears and putting that system thru speeds not designed for it... thats alot of speed for that....

 

thats what i figured, idk if it makes a different my has an f350 with a 460 and he'll do 4lo 4th gear drops on the sand drags and i was kinda confused as far as why i couldnt run 4lo

 

he can hold the rpms better and stay in gear... unless u put urs in 2nd or sumthing but idk how much it would winde out.. i would do it.. if 4 hi works then go that route.. i just wouldnt push the 4wd that hard in low.. i mean toruque its great but speed wise.... i wouldnt...
