Default Question about 03 replacement mirrors

Were heated mirrors an option in 03? If so would my XLT Scab have the wires in place for this even though they are not currently on my truck? I am considering installing aftermarket tow mirrors that have a heat option. The factory mirrors are powered, but not heated. Just interested in how much work would be involved making this happen.

where did you find heated tow mirrors?? I've only seen power and led turn signals.

No, heat was not an option and there are no wires there for heat.
That said, you could run wires for it and make a switch for it.

There are some on eBay that claim to be "heated" but I'm not too sure if they actually are...

What I realized, I should have bought my mirrors individually and it would have saved me like $40...
