I need some help real bad. My father in laws 97 died in a parking lot. He replaced the battery because the old one was bad. That didnt fix it. He got it towed to his house and when I tried starting it, it sounded like the starter was having to try really hard to turn the motor over. I replaced the starter and that didnt solve the problem either. I then proceeded to replace all the wires coming from the battery to the starter, the starter solenoid on the firewall and both of the 175 amp mega fuses. Nothing has worked. I also did the test on the transmission range sensor verifying that there is voltage present. I would appreciate any comments. I just need to get this thing fixed.
