Default Problem with blend door or quirk?

I have noticed that the vent temp when on vent, not AC is about 10* warmer than outside air. As in title is this a problem with the blend door or just a normal quirk from the vents being really hot from the sun and engine temps?

Not a problem. Hot outside air will equal hot vent air.

Engine heat, manifold heat. Also if you don't have hood and firewall liners....metal heats up sort of like a stove at operating temp on vent/panel.

Never hurts to have a ac service done though. Have them vacuum it down to make sure it still holds a vacuum nice. The refill it. I do it every other year or so.
