Hey guys, i just got my pro comp aal in from summit yesterday, and was gonna sneak away today and try to install it. My question is if anyone has done this, how hard is it to recompress the spring pack to put the bindings back on it? I dont have a press so im not sure if its something i can do myself or if i should wait until monday and do it after work. Any input is greatly appreciated! Oh and happy thanksgiving everyone!

 

Take a couple C-clamps to hold the pack together, just position them where the aal wont hit them. You'll probably have to cut the center bolts off so youll need new ones, then just tighten up the center bolts with the aal

 

Did exactly that mtz, thanks for the input.. i called pro comp and they said to completely remove the spring pack but i just left it in and dropped the axle. It gave me a good inch of lift, but mainly helped my bed from sagging with a load or towing. Pretty happy so far :thumbsup2:
