Default Preventative maintenance planned

I have been watching how to's on YouTube on transmission fluid change/transfer case fluid change/ rear diff fluid change all three done by the same person he was using amsoil I am just curious on what is recommend for each I have herd of transfer cases blowing up from using the wrong stuff I just want to make 100% sure I am buying the correct fluids for each my truck also has 3.55ls gears in the rear and I have read there needs to be a friction modifyer added how much and what brand of this will I need? Sorry of this all has been asked before I googled and searched the fourm before posting without being able to find all of this info the truck is a 2001 5.4 with 220,000 miles and from the looks of the bolts/drain and fill plugs I don't believe any of it has ever been changed

idk if you've changed anything yet but the rear diff takes 3 quarts of fluid if it's a 9.75" just get any brand you prefer the rear takes 75W-140 just get some RTV to seal it back up. Be prepared for the transfer case.. It goes EVERYWHERE. Except the drain pan ( hits a cross member and goes everywhere) if you do the trans look for a little yellow bobber if you find it in the pan the fluids original along with the filter. The front diff takes 2 quarts of 75W-90 ( yes it has a drain and fill plug) good luck!

Alright man thanks I appreciate the info I had been curious as to what axel housing it was I had a ranger with the 8.8 and it looked close to that but I wasn't sure this is my first f-150 and I wanna make it last lol

I believe I am going to use amsoil severe gear 75w140 in the rear and the 75w90 severe gear in the front I have herd good things on amsoil I believe I will get the transfer case fluid from ford along with the friction modifier and maybe something not so expensive for the atf seeings how its gonna take quite a bit of fluid to do that
