Does anyone have a diagram they can post of the power steering system for a 2001 F150 4wd 5.4?

 

I got a pretty good look at it today. It appears that either the high pressure hose from the pump to the steering gear or the pump itself is leaking. There is very little room in there, especially with 4wd. Access is horrible.

Has anyone pulled the pump before? Any suggestions.

 

Its no fun at all. Thats one of those things I would take it in for. but thats just me.

 

That is the conclusion I am coming to. I have the engine bay all opened up with the best possible access and I still don't want to do it. I guess that is when you know to call it quits.

The parts are cheap and i bet the labor is tight since it is a simple system so might not be too costly.
