Default Power locks problem

So, i've had my Truck for a few months now and this has been bugging me for a while but i havent done anything about it.

Its a 2002 F150 XLT, so it has the power locks, the problem is they do not work properly.

From the drivers side i can unlock and lock my side, but not the passenger side, It seems to struggle, like it wont come all the way up or go all the way down.

I Don't have a remote lock, i have to buy another one, but i figure this should be fixed first.

Any ideas as to what i could do?

Also, i have the same issue with my power windows, drivers side i can put my window up and down but the passenger window only goes down, not back up unless i lean over and do it from the passenger controls. Not sure if both of these problems have the same cause.

Any help would be appreciated!

change the switches on the door locks power windows and let me know after that

switches get bad after a while and actually do wear out

Even switch the switches around and see if you can eliminate your issue

I would put a power probe on the switch to ensure its getting juice and check the actuator.

Sounds like a grounding issue between the drivers door to passenger side.

Ive had this same problem for a while and just never got around to fixing it yet. All of my locks do this and I heard that if you take apart the lock actuator you can wrap the resistor in tin foil and actually fix the problem. I guess they dull down and arent as strong after a while. Here is a video

My Truck was having same issue. I replaced the lock actuators on both sides and presto! As for the windows, try taking the switches out and cleaning the contacts and see if that helps with them.
