So I got a 97 v8 and my lock on driver side had quit working so I was gonna put new actuator in and think that was it. Well I checked and I got power running to through the wires to actuator so I know they got power. But i checked switch lines and only get power from unlock which tells me I know the switch needs replaced cause all wires are good. (The passenger switch works perfect) . But anyway while I was wiring I don't know if this would of did anything but the hot and ground when I was putting new actuator on touched and sparked and after that now both switches DONT work at all. Still get power to them though they just don't lock or Unlock when I press button down. I feel like I could of blown a relay or a fuse. But U can't really check a relay. And I also don't know where the relays are fuses are that would have anything to do with my problem. I really am starstrucked. If anyone can help me get this thing fixed be greatly appreciated . They lines running to fuse and actuall and all that got power . The passenger side worked but after the hot and negative touched when I was putting in actuator on driver side it cause both of them to quit working.
