my power door locks activate by them selves, they start going crazy up and down.. any idea of what this might be? I was thinking it was the body control module.. any ideas?

Mine just started doing the exact same thing this morning, I had the battery out for about a week so I don't know if that has anything to do with my problem. I hope someone can point us in right direction.

Common problem on these trucks were the actuators. I'd look into those.

I had the same problem on my passenger side door. I was being cheap and went to a junkyard and got a door lock actuator for 3 bucks and fixed the problem.

GEM box sounds like it is taking the proverbial crap. If you go to the wrecking yard for another one, make sure you get the same number if at all possible. They are coded differently for different options. Good luck.
