Default Power door lock conversion

I currently have a 04 Heritage that has no power in the doors. The windows don't bother me much but having power locks with a remote would be nice to have. I've looked at several kits online and have a few questions. 1. The doors now unlock when you pull the held from the inside. Will i loose this if i add power locks? 2. Any suggestions on brand or company to order from? 3. Any tips or suggestions before i dive into this?

No, you will not lose the auto unlock when you pull the handle. I pieced mine together with Ebay parts on my Ranger. I did not add switches though, and I just used a Ford dealer alarm which I also got on Ebay. But it's really pretty simple. If you go on http://www.the12volt.com/ you'll find TONS of great info. There is more than one way to skin this cat, so you really need to figure out what the end result needs to be for you (i.e. how you want to lock and unlock the doors).
