Power adjustable Brake Gas Pedal

Power adjustable Brake Gas Pedal
2003 f150 lariat 4x4
power adjustable pedal is broke, broke in may still under warranty,
everytime i go in for an oil change they say there is no fix.
apparently the maker is out of business that makes the motor or actuator
and they have no fix.
so the pedal is all the way back just wont move. you can hear it clicking
attempting to move but nothing.
anyone else have problems
also abnormal amount of brake pads being replaced on the truck
and i dont have a heavy foot either.
everytime someone drives the truck they comment on sluggish brakes
but they have been replaced several times and looked at.

The "no fix" is BS. I have a 2003 with the same problem, not under warranty. They do not sell just the actuator but do have the entire brake pedal assembly that bolts to the firewall with 4 bolts. This includes: brake pedal arm, motor, & actuator. Local Ford dealer would have been more than happy to sell me a new brake pedal assembly for $505. no thanks. If yours is still under warranty make them fix it. They can. The part is available.

I had the same problem on my 2000 expedition and my 2002 king ranch. My wife is always moving the pedals when she drives my truck, I keep them all the way down.
I think the real problem is some sort of internal failure in the brake gear that moves the pedal. On both vehicles, I moved the pedal adjustment all the way up, then jiggled and beat the crap out of the brake pedal while operating the motor down. Both gas and brake all the way down now... And then unplugged the pedal adjustment motor. I'm not going to pay $500 to fix a feature I don't use.

Just wanted to see if you found a fix for your pedals yet? I just replaced my worm gear on my brake pedal and it works great. If you have the tube style I can get you the part number. I checked with all the dealers around me and none of them knew about the gear and they wanted to sell me the entire assembly. Oh and you can purchase the motor by itself

I have 2002 FX4 has same adjustable pedals. Brake pedal is stuck at top and motor still working.Heard a grinding noise when it stopped. Same as you ford place want's to sell whole assembly. Saw you found worm gear. Where did you find it and do you have part#. Also will that apply to my 2002 FX4?
