Default Possible Bad Injectors

Hey whats up,

This is my first post here. I want to make sure my issue isn't smaller or bigger than I think. FIRSTLY, my truck was shaking and I smelled a sulfur like smell and got a check engine light. I scanned the codes - misfire on 3 and 4. What I have done so far is change all the plugs and plug wires. I have also changed the fuel filter. This has helped tremendously. But, now the truck starts and runs (roughly under load and normally at speed) but has a slight jolt every so often at idle. When under load / going up hills or even getting up to speed the motor bogs down and shutters. My thoughts are to change the injectors. I don't want to say that its the fuel pump but I am not ruling it out at all. Any insight on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

MAF 5.9 f/s
Load 18.4
STFT1 1.6%
Intake 37deg
Timing Adv 14.5%
Throttle 20.8 %
Boost -8.4 psi
Vacuum 17.2 in/Hs

NM EDIT: - This guy doesn't even know year, miles and all the essentials for an informed answer.

Yeah definitely the injectors. The 3.8 was notorious for injector issues

TommyM.....what the hell are you working on? An Aerostar or Windstar? We have no 3.8's or LX models. We have a 4.2 and an XL model. Please verify or post in the correct section.

I should of went that way myself, but he seems lost, so I tried to throw some info for him to absorb.

This is a 2001 F150 XL 4.2L V6

What else do you need. I honestly thought that the information originally posted was sufficient enough to get a good handle on the issue. This is a legit issue and a legit post. In all honesty I Will more than likely replace everything. Not a big deal.

If you happened to notice that this is my first post. I'd like a little more insight on an issue. You've been a dick since post #1. What's the deal man?

If you happened to notice Post #2. You come off like that has no baring. Yet you can read a scanner. Perhaps these other guys will help, if your lucky.
