Default positraction and engine swap

I am in the process of modifying my truck, (2000 F150 4.2L XL) and I was wondering if it was possible to add positraction to it. Also, I know many people wouldn't try it because it may not be worth it, but swapping the 4.2L for a 5.4L...would it hook up?

I just went over doing a v8 swap with another guy on here and we pretty much concluded that it's not worth it. I couldn't find any good write ups online. As for adding a limited slip it's simple, you just need a carrier with limited slip and you swap your ring gear over then reset the backlash. I got my 8.8 LSD carrier from work for $180 my cost. I don't know what it'd be for you from a dealer.

Thanks man. I'll look into the 8.8, but I'm going to keep looking for some clear write-ups online about the swap.
