Default Plasti dip?

M wanting to plasti dip every gold and chrome piece on my truck wanting to know how to plasti dip my rims without getting any on my rotors without taking wheeled off if possible also want to know about how many cans this job will take and how long. Seriously? If you're going to do it, don't be lazy. Take the wheels off. Why risk getting any on things it's not supposed to be on...like your brakes.

I stuck pieces of cardboard behind the gaps to keep it off the inside of the wheel and the rotors. Worked fine for me. I also put index cards in the bead instead of taping the tires off.
Plastidip is crap but its ok just to see if you like the look. You can also paint over it and it still comes off fine. I used around 5 cans to do my wheels and bumpers. The thicker you spray the easier it'll peel off. It really is total junk though so don't expect it to hold up for long

I did my wheels about a year ago drive every where even gravel haven't had to touch up any spots and still holding strong so if you wanna do it its not crap just need to put a good solid 4-6 coats bout 1 can each and you will be fine
