Well I have changed out my stock headlights in my 98 Ford F-150 from Stock lights to a cheap pair of Clear headlights that I bought on Ebay, I also have have changed the bulbs several times with no improvement.
Was wanting to know if there is any head lights out there that I can get to improve the lighting? I was looking at a pair of projection head lights by Spyder? Have any of you done this conversion? Is it worth it? Any input is greatly appreciated.

 

The Spyders are kind of crap too if you're really wanting performance from your headlights. I have not done the conversion but I will one day if I keep my truck.

Do not do the Spyder crap projectors. They are worse than what you have now.

I had good output with my Clear lens housings and regular Sylvania bulbs.

So you went with HID? and kept the Standard OEM headlight lens?

 

I've tried to change the bulbs, a few times and I get the same result. Thinking I need to change lens again and get a better bulb. Wanting to know witch way to go. What would be a good lens and than bulb, anything has got to be BTR than what I got now.

 

Also check to make sure you're getting 12v at the lens.

 

I used the clear lens housings and a H1 Mini HID projector. The link in my sig has a lot of the pics of the process.

 

I put the depot lightning headlights with the Sylvania bulbs that come with them and it is 100% improvement over stock.

 

Exactly which housing do you currently have?
A pic or link to them.
Yours output should be similar to my pic with the halogen bulbs.

Here's my king ranch lights with sylvania bulbs (idk which ones they are the $20 ones in the purple package). Aimed right anyway. The fogs are on too because I was having my brother take pictures of the output for the plug and play hid clowns.
