Default Pics of Leveled Trucks

i want a leveling kit on my 01 screw, and im kinda unsure in what size, i wanna clear at 295's or maybe 305's, so post pics of your trucks with what size kit you got and tires

If 4x4 don't get leveling kit just turn up the torsion bars. I have pics of 305's on mine with the torsions turned up in my albums

Leveled out mine today. My torsion bas were real low. Before and after pics.

wow big difference with the level) 4x4wolf- i heard that they could snap if turnt to far and they also ride bad if turnt to much

Good question. What is maxx you can crank. Also, I have to say I felt know obvious change in the ride. It felt pretty good. I gguess time will tell...

what does turning the torsion bars consist of, I mean is it a 10 min job or do i need a pro

Well on my truck the 18mm bolts were located underneath the truck, one for each side. There right under the cross bar that holds up the tranny. Anyway you can jack up the front of the truck to take the load off, then tighten each screw which will raise your front end. I did a little at a time one each screw then would let it off the jack, then measure. Then repaeat process till you have the height you want. There's threads about the pro's and cons. Check them out. Oh and donforget the brews for the job as well.

The 97 and 98's had any issue with weak metal in the torsions that were causing them to break. Problem has been solved and many on here have done this with no problems, just don't max them out your cv's will hate you.

so i dont need torsion keys to do this with? im a backyard mechanic haha so i dont have any but i do however have many sockets haha

Wow that was sittin low I have never seen a Lariat 4x4 sit that low looks great now!
