99 plus both 4.6 and 5.4

 

U sure on that.? Almost everything I've read says 2000 4.6's don't have pi heads.

The 99+ mustangs bragged about 4.6L PI heads along with the redesign of the car for that year, i cant see them keeping the Non PI heads on the trucks for 2 more years when they were the exact same heads.

 

my 2000 4.6 (triton) sure had PI heads

 

How can you tell exactly? I have a 2000 4.6L. I remember reading a few posts that i could have sworn said it didn't so i just assumed it didn't have them. Any specific serial number or difference in physical appearance between pi and non pi? Not trying to put you down, I'm just curious where you got the info from.

 

If you look at the side Of the head it says PI on the stamping, at least it does on my 5.4
