2001 5.4 V8

Every so often, (no specific time frame) in any weather temp condition, I will start the truck and it will want to not idle or idle at very low RPM's. After the truck warms up, it will start idling like normal. No CEL.

First thing I was going to try was to take off and clean the throttle body and EGR valve.

Any special instructions for cleaning the EGR?

Anything else I should try?

 

Try replacing your IAC too and your TPS. Might have something to do with it.
