Default performance chips and tuners

I'm looking at getting a tuner for my truck. And I want the best one to give me the most horse power and torque. I'm open to any options

A custom tune from a tuner is going to be your best hp/tq gains. Now you need to ask yourself whether extra gauges are something you would like. The Gryphon CS/CTS from PHP or SCT Livewire are a few recommended custom tunable gauge tuners. If you want a flash tuner the SCT X3 is a good option. Many places write SCT tunes including VMP, Troyer Performance, and 5 star.
Chips really can't do all that a tuner can do and that's why they've really fallen off of the market. PHP does make a Phoenix flip chip which for a chip is pretty good but it still isn't a tuner.
Go to the websites and call people like Bill at PowerHungryPerformance or Justin at VMP and they will really help you figure out which one and what type of tunes are best for your style and driving habits. Happy hunting!
