Default PCV Valve Location

Hello All

Is the location of the PCV Valve really in the passanger side valve cover of 4.2L 6? Quick look yesterday and I did not see it. Is it possible that ford made 4.2l after jan 1999 with no pcv? I just picked up a 98 F150 XLT 4x4 long bed and got the check engine light. Codes came up typical for lean fuel and I wanted to check vacuum first. Thought I would start with PCV. Anyone else have the problem or am I just blind. Thanks for any help.

my chilton says how to remove it,but not the location. it shows a pic of the valve cover but doesn't say which engine. could it be at the back of the engine?

Thanks for the reply... it must be, There is alot of wires and stuff in the way that are kind of tight and hard to move...i may have to disconnect them and get a good peek. I use the haynes manual and it says passenger side but sure not visible.
