Default PCM Reprogram?

I've been out of the world of Ford trucks for a long time.
Bought my 02 last spring with 78,000 miles on it.

Under the hood is a dealer sticker that says
"PCM Reprogram" With what looks like a serial number and dated 1-27-05

Can someone tell me what this was about?
I can provide the numbers if that helps.

The dealer might know if you call them. I believe there was an idle issue addressed.

I assume this is out of curiosity.

There are all sorts of reasons why it might have been reprogrammed. Could have been standard Ford service as mentioned previously. Have also heard of it being done for ignition and engine swaps and fried central security modules.

If there's a serial number and a date, the dealer will have a record for it.
