Truck has been real finicky starting for a while. Turn the key and get nothing, have to play with the shift lever and get it in a sweet spot to start it. So I am assuming it is a park safety switch of some sort that is going out. Problem is I can't find it at autozone or anything that sounds like the part that I need. Anybody know what it is called/how to replace it? Or maybe just bypass it and call it good?

 

try neutral safety switch and no don't bypass speaking from experience here
