How'd that black chrome work out for you? I've been considering blacking out my rear bumper but not sure about DIY painting the chrome.

Looks good, once everything gets painted throw a little tint on the windows should tie it all together.

Now replace that 3rd brake light with a smoked one! I just got one off ebay this week and it changed the looks. I'm planning on doing the same thing you have done, only my truck is already black (2tone), so the window surround is going to be the first try at paint, was thinkin' of using the Krylon fusion for plastics seein' as it worked well on my supermoto.

By the way, I like the color combo, looks sweet!

Night shades on the 3rd is what I did, that and LED replacement bulbs and you'll still be under the cost of an aftermarket light I think. I also Night Shaded my ovals, but I went a little to dark on them, just food for thought. If you don't want to worry about tickets for tinting your tails you could also paint the insides black to make them appear a little darker with out losing visibility. Try calling around to local paint shops, they might be able to sell what you need in rattle cans for your rim job. (couldn't resist)

If I remember right that Duplicolor Black Chrome kit comes with a prep spray, there was a video on their website but it doesn't seem to be working now.
