Paint Tips
Hey guys I could really use a few painting tips for prepping, priming, and painting my truck. A couple months back I got into a nasty wreck involving a house, and the *** end of my truck (Note: Black ice is scary ****). Anyways I could really use some prep tips such as sanding so this truck will come out looking half decent. What techniques should I use for prepping and what grits of paper are best to make that paint flow on smoothly? Anything I should be looking for while I'm masking and priming? I will be using a HVLP setup which will be more than sufficient in my opinion. Also how do I avoid that ****ty orange/fat lady's butt look in which the clear coat appears rough and thick? Remember any and all tips, **** even a write up or two would really help me out.

-prep! Sand the he'll outta it clean it don't ship any prep work or it will show in the paint job. (orange peel, uneven marks, just general flaws) I've only helped with paint by doing prep work so that's all the help I am!
