Default Paint grill

I want to repaint the grill shell, the part thats around the grill insert and headlights, and was wondering on what type of paint I should use to get a nice, glossy finish. And should I clear coat it? Any help appreciated

^use the duplicolor it's the best in match and quality. I used it on my throttle body cover and on some parts of my friends chevy without any issues.

Like this? I went to carols color connections and got me a pint ( I think ) for 15ish, but I got a heck of a deal cause I got the clear coat and activator. Only paid for the paint.

I painted my grille surround with duplicolor plastic paint and wouldnt suggest their clear coat

I prepped it with a light grey plastic primer, then painted it with the duplicolor ford white plastic paint, and finished it off with duplicolor clear coat for plastic.

Where the clear coat has chipped off the paint matches the truck perfectly but with the clear coat the paint looks yellow
