Can I paint over the crime on my grill or pull it off

I don't understand what you are asking. Are you trying to paint the grill surround, or the grill itself? I'm not sure about what you are trying to paint..

You have to scuff chrome to get paint to stick well.

Yeah you can paint it.. Like he said though ^^ you really gotta sand the **** outa chrome to get paint to stick. Will be easy for the grill surround but the billet grill might be difficult.

yeah plus the part surround the grill is plastic, but it's all one piece. It would be easier to take it off if you're painting the whole thing

scuff up the hell out of it and paint it the same red as your truck with some clear coat over it. would look much better than black

For my truck, I was told that the paint would stick to the billet grille but not the chrome surround.

If your gonna paint any kind of metal you should try and sand it down as best as you can, regardless. Following that with primer would probably be a good idea too lol

I was going to paint the outer edge to match but the inside black
