Hey guys... Shooting code P1747 on 1997 Ford F150, V6 4.2. 4R70W transmission. I've found the problem. The wiring harness from the tranny was touching the exhaust manifold Looks like a few wires were scorched so I actually DO HAVE A SHORT. Is this harness, (lots of wires) available anywhere? There is no way to actually work/repair the frayed wires, (no access). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Auto parts and dealer don't even know what I'm talking about.
