Default P0782 trans code question

2000 F150 4x4 5.4

For a while I've had an issue with a delayed 2-3 upshift. Everywhere I went said just rebuild it. Ya like I have 2500 extra bucks just sitting around. So I've just been driving it that way.
Today, with city driving I turned the overdrive off. Within a mile the o/d off light started flashing. I was ecstatic in a way because I finally had a code to look at.
Took it to a shop and got a p0782 code (2-3 shift error). I was told possibly it could be one of the shift solenoids.
So Friday I'm taking it to a shop to have both solenoids and a filter put in it.
My question is, should I replace the 2-3 accumulator piston and spring while they are in there? From the searches I've done on this code, a few guys have fixed problems by replacing that part.

Any insight on this is greatly appriciated!

Yes replace the accumulator piston and spring. Look into a performane valve body as it will allow a slight increase in fluid pressure for the 1-2 & 2-3 shift.

Hey thanks man. Im a little short on cash or I would get a new valve body. Plus I don't have a whole lot of time to order one and wait for it. But I will replace the accumulator piston and spring.
