As long as they came from Ford they will be good. Third party suppliers such as Felpro haven't kept up with the revisions.

Rolllers.... the darn rollers on these trucks like to kick off if your lash adjusters get clogged. If pull an all and spray em all with break cleaner till they move free again, then do an oil change just for good measure. I had the same issue on my 05 and after days of tinkering came to find it. Ran it another 20,000 after with no issues.

Well, switched cops and still getting misfire cylinder 4. I am at a loss. When I pulled the cop it wasn't wet or dirty. Plug is new. Idling issue is gone now that gaskets have been replaced. I am honestly stumped.

So this is new right, #4 has never misfired in the past correct, before the gasket swap?

External leak you'd see, that won't cause misfire unless filling spark well.

Internal leak into intake runner......will misfire, just like hg leak, coolant in cylinder.

Since it wasn't there before the chance that your gasket isn't sealing good.......possible. but check the injector all the wires and the PCV hose

Well, since you haven't answered my last post yet, and I have to leave...I'm betting you are buckling #4 boot on the install, or it's not seating properly on the plug. A big problem with worn boots, and #4 is the worst to mount properly if your not greasing properly. I'll explain that another time since you haven't answered yet, but this should give an idea where I'm going. It's a common problem.

Ended up taking it to the shop. Seems more than a plug/cop issue. If it's antifreeze leak it's beyond me. Thanks everyone fore the quick and friendly help. I'll let you know what they say.

Well you could have eliminated a lot of things but it would just would have just taken out a little bit of time.
Having an inductive engine analyzer can really speed the process up. And you can get one fairly cheap today.

A PC based scope can be had for under $100.
