P0156 and P0174

Default P0156 and P0174

After diagnosing my F150, i have two error messages namely;

O2 sensor circuit bank 2 sensor 2(P0156)
System Too lean Bank 2(P0174)

Can anybody help me on this issues?

Look for vacuum leaks everywhere.

P0174 - Sounds like pippit valves need to be replaced if im correct.
P0156 - 02 Sensor before the cat

"Pippet valves"???


Years back we had to repair first code received first then on to the second, and so on. Was the P0156 first received or the second?

replace your bank 2 sensor before the cat 02 sensor with a motorcraft 02 sensor and reset the engine light.... might as well replace both sensors before the cat or before long you might have another 02 sensor code.
