do you know what it's called or could point me towards a guide on how to change it?
Best fix is to remove the intake manifold, cut the end off of the heater pipe and then replace that section with a piece of heater hose and two hose clamps.
I did see coolant pooled under the water pump so I pulled the top radiator hose, air intake, and alternator and it looked like the water pump has been replaced before and they only used rtv for a gasket, it looks like they rtv may have blown apart so since i'm going to pull the water pump off to replace the gasket i'm going to replace the pump while i'm there.
I'd go with what you see first. Before pulling the intake manifold and chopping up parts. You're there, the internet is out here.
I left everything dry out and then added more water to the reservoir and figured out that the water was leaking out of the front so I changed the water pump today and the leak appears to be gone.
I did notice that I don't have the 2 sensors in the front of the intake manifold, and no spare wire connectors anywhere.

You don't have the two sensors because your truck is a 99. Ford switched to a cylinder head temp sensor in 99 and just plugged the holes on the intake.
