Default Overheating???

Sup Ford family!!! Today I went to get lunch on break and the drive thru at KFC was a little backed up so I had to sit in the drive thru line longer than normal. About 10mins later I noticed the temp gauge go from where it normally is (which a little under half) to 3/4 almost on the H!!! The funny thing is that when I drove off it went right back down to normal! I didn't have time to check under the hood, but I didn't smell any radiator fluid, see any water spots under the truck, or hear in boiling/sizzling sounds!!! Does anyone have any clue as to what the heck is going on!!!!!!! Thanks in advance!

Yeah blackbeast, I did have the a/c on. It was hot as hell!!!! But why would my fluids be low, or should I say what will make my fluid level low if there is no leaks? Oh and thanks for the response!

well sometimes there is a very very small leak in the radiator fins so thats one way also have you ever flushed your radiator and heater core i did the other day the first time in 9 or so years so thats a maybe lookinto that and then again could have been a faulty guage lots of things it could be just keep an eye on it and if it happens alot then pay some more attention to it

You know I have been wanting to flush out the radiator because the last time I did my oil change about 2 months ago I add water to it and alot of brown water came up so I was gonna flush it. Just haven't had the time!
