Looks good. What is involved in installing it?

I modified the mounting bracket (which I think could of been avoided) then modified the fit of the actual trim piece to fit the headliner. Also cut the headliner where it mounts. The compass and temp sensor requires the sensor from the front of the vehicle then an ignition powered source.

If you don't have an overhead console stock you will need shorter sun visors and the inner mounting brackets won't work with the shorter visors.

I installed a blank panel in the open spot for switches but don't have any installed yet.

And I'm not really a fan of the two lights.
Hell you can prolly modify the light on the console. Take the lens out and paint it black and then turn the switches into switches for something else. lol

If I grab one of these at the local parts yard and use it to make a mold and make my own parts to match up to delete the light and shorten it. Like ending it right at the point before the light and make the two Cubby's into switch panels. Could I then have enough room where the climate control is on this one to move my factory climate control to the location of the control in this console? Then have/make enough room to slide my cb into the dash under the radio? Just for size reference my cb is the cobra 29 LCD Bluetooth model. Anyone think it could be done the fiberglass and making a mold I know I can do. Its just a matter of room to relocate the components. I know I'd have to also build a wire harness. That's no problem.

I like this idea. If you're willing to do your headliner as well at the same time you can just tie the existing wiring from the dome light into the one on the console.

I'd personally just pull the ***** for the temp control, blast the existing plastic black and use the existing holes for a template for your new switchers.

If I do it I'll have to run a custom wire harness. I'll need more than just a power source. I'll have to run all the wiring up to it for the climate control. I'll have to extend it from the factory location in the dash to the overhead console. It wouldn't be a hard job to do. Just a matter of available space.
