Default Overdrive "OFF", quick question...

new to the truck scene and was just wondering on the overdrive handle it says OFF, does that light need to be on or off on normal regular driving? also, what is the difference?

thanks.

The light needs to be off for regular driving using overdrive. And when the light is on then you are using just drive which is better for pulling trailers and such. For regular driving make sure ur Lil light on there is off.

The wires to the swich are known to break near the column. Check to see if they're shorted.
