Should I drive with my over drive on or off?

City driving and/or towing leave it off. The downside is slightly worse MPG the upside is the trans isnt constantly shifting between 3rd and 4th and it will not heat up as fast/will last longer. Anything over 45-55mph/no load you can/should use o/d.

Mine is always on, only turn it off while driving in the mountains or towing.

Never notice it shifting too much in residential areas, heck I have to get over 40 before it makes a difference. By the time I'm doing more than 40, I'm out of town.

i keep mine on all the time unless im towing or driving up and down hills. automatic transmission+hills= i wish i had a stick.... lol 5.4 with manual transmission would be awesome.
