I bought my 2000 XLT, 5.4l, off road, 4x4, tow and 103k miles with 0 rust for 7k. So yea they are out there just keep looking

Dude, you got ripped off!! I can go in my area on craigslist, find a 99 xlt 2 wheel drive with 125,000 miles on it for less than $3000.

i spend 2000 on myne with 160000 mile and no rust 5.4 v8 got it for a steal 4x4 lariat

i didnt actually pay 6 straigh5t up.. i traded a ranger worth like 3000... which is only like 1500 trade in value... plus like 3000 cash...

I just picked up a 98 Xlt with 58000 miles , one owner for 6400 bucks. There out there u just have to keep looking.

the 4.2s are alright but if you want good economy get a manual single cab 2wd work truck for dirt cheap under $3000 spend 4000 on making it cool

if your looking for off road capabilities and darn good mileage get a s10 blazer with a 4" lift good year duratrack tires and youll never get stuck i always got made fun of for having a 2.8l motor but i was the one pulling every one out and still had a full wallet at the end of the week

In the Country, where I live, the roads are the last ones to get plowed. That is why I need 4x4.
