Default oil/temperature light

replaced clutch, pressure plate, pilot bearing, throw out bearing on 2000 ford f-150 over the weekend and everything as far as clutch goes is working fine but now the oilpressure/temperature light is on..I know it sets right at the top of the transmission on the left side of the engine..could i have cracked it or something..checked it and the wire was off put it back on and the light went off..Went back a little later and crank it and the light was back on..any ideas?
