Default Oil leak

It's got my truck back from the shop, I had it in there for header gaskets, they get to drill some studs out, when I got it back after a short drive I looked at them and there was a substance sprayed everywhere looks like it's leaking from one of the bolts to the header!! Also burns blue and can smell burnt oil!! What the crap happened?! 1997 f150. 4.6l v8

They may have drilled into head oil return holes. They're oil return passages to block on that side of head. There would be crankcase pressure. I believe the oil feed (pressure) lines are on the intake side.

I'd make them fix it. At least bolt could be removed, hole cleaned and some heat proof sealer on end and threads of bolt. Worst case may need another head.

Hopefully someone who's been there will drop by.
