Default oil gauge problem

Ok yall first off I swapped out my cluster and my old oil gauge never did this. Alright so my problem is my new clusters oil pressure gauge is goin crazy ill be driving along at normal speeds and its fine its when I come to a stop or let off the accelerator thats when the thing bottoms out and starts goin crazy. Theb I mash the accelerator again to increase speed and goes back to normal. Ive already checked my oil and its fine so im just wondering if it is this cluster bad or if my old cluster wasnt working right. Im thinking about swapping out another cluster since the junkyard I got this one out of says they provide a warranty if it doesnt work. So if any of yall have had this problem and come across any soultion thatd be awesome to let me in on some insight how you fixed it.

If you've checked the oil pressure and it's good, you have either a faulty gauge or sending unit.

Check & clean the connectors on the sending unit & cluster.
