Yep. -44 offset on a 12" rim turns out to have about 4.5" backspacing.

Sorry but I just wanna share this...

Ckale's wheels at -44 on a 12" wide rim means the wheels mounting surface would be pushed off the center line of the wheel 1.7323 inches toward the frame of the truck thus pushing the wheel out of the wheel well... this would yield 4.2677 (say 4 1/4") of backspacing... so that leaves 7 3/4" sticking out from the hubs mounting surface...

Mine at -22 on a 10" rim means my wheels mounting surface is pushed off its centerline almost 7/8" toward the frame which gives em about 4" of backspacing and 6" sticking out from the hubs mounting surface...

so even though I have less backspacing (the less backspacing the more your wheels stick out) Ckales stick out 1 3/4" more than mine due to the wider wheel

my stock wheels were 7" wide with 4.5" of backspacing that means it would be about a +25 offset... the wheels mounting surface was pushed away from the frame of the truck sucking the wheel in...
