Default Off topic gotts mod question...

If I were to make a video of my gotts build would someone want to edit the footage for me into a tutorial for others to reference? I don't have the software to do that, or the knowledge.

IF the footage was decent quality, and shot in an organized way i would be more than happy to. Not trying to be picky but there is only so much editing can do if its all in one long segment, shacking around in some ones hand. But i can handle full 1080p/i HD and of course any thing lower quality, and plenty of software to make it a good watch!

I wasnt gona do it as a straight shot all the way through. Making clips for parts needed, removal of old snorkel and so on. As for shaking ill give it my best, i dont know when i can do it, thursday is probably the earliest. Do you want me to film it and put a segment on youtube or something and you can decide if its to your standards from there?

as long as you try to do it in clips with minimal shaking and half decent lighting im happy to edit it considering there is noting available right now. Few things that will really help tho, if you have a shop light or any extra lamp put if behind the camera firing straight at the filmed object, even if there is enough light to see this will dramatically reduce confusing shadows. If possible, use even the worlds cheapest tripod, you can get them at wal-mart for $10... big, small any thing. If that isn't an option just use a stool or pile of boxes! The less time you hold the camera in one hand and an object in the other, the more relaxing and useful the video will be, but if both hands can be use for camera operating, no worries! if you will even attempt it this way your results will be 80% better. as for timing when ever you do it is just fine for me, if its small enough file you could just email it to me, or a cd/dvd sent snail mail. If it goes through some thing like you tube they make it a format i can not edit, and conversion usually takes hours!
