Just ordered some slimlites. Gonna send back the daylighters. Maybe I'll be able to see the road now! Does anyone know how long the stud is that comes with the slimlites? I can't find it anywhere

I put 4 daylighters on my bumper using N-Fab bar, 2 wide beam driving lights, and 2 long range spots. Mounting behind grill is OK, but difficult to aim, and aiming is key to effective lighting. I can adjust mine very easily on the bar. They do pertrude a little for some peoples taste, but I like them and they are functional, not for looks. There is a picture of them on here somwhwere.

Yeah I got the long range kc's for free from work, and one things fore sure they are hard to aim and with these long range lights aiming really is key. Right at the moment I just have them pretty much focused on center for when I get cut off I blind the driver

It's about 1" idk if there's enough to clear the brace and have enough threads to start. You may have to put a longer bolt in.

Anyone know a good grounding point on the drivers side? The light on my switch isn't working and I think it's a bad ground

If you take off the big square like piece of the dash under the steering wheel theres a big metal brace thats behind it, or you could even do the parking brake release handle bracket. I have ground on both those locations

My ground for my interior lights are behind that black piece on the ground in the middle of the front seat. The seats also have good grounds

There's also a green grounding bolt behind the black trim piece over the trans hump. The cover just snaps off and it's in the drivers side by the gas petal

I think I know the one your talking about. Might try there after a while. I'm gonna try and use the daylighter wiring harness for the slim lights so I don't have to rewire. I would need to splice in a new connector though
