oh yeah lol I see now, I agree I wouldn't run them on the streets.. I do but only when nobody is around...

as for po-po.. just like anything else it just depends on the cop and what mood he's in at the time... you could get away with it for 20 years and then that one cop gets you for it... or he could get you for it the first day... just depends.. I'm pretty sure it's illegal if they are over 55w

You can run about anything you damn well please on high beams I believe, but if you're going to be using them with low beams I think you'd have an issue. Factory low beams are either 35 or 45 watt

According to Federal DOT mandates any lighting that is mounted at the same height or higher than factory head lights can not be used if they are over 55w. Furthermore they can not be a OFF ROAD USE ONLY style of light. They have to be driving lights only. I Have KC 55w HID mounted in my grill that serve as my High beam. Because I'm using 35w HID in lightning style headlights but they are aimed properly.

I wouldnt use them instead of the factory headlights.. Just Remember DOT has jurisdicition anywhere in the country, and federal overrules state, and county laws.

mine are lower than my headlights, plus i think mine are 55W, but i have them aimed properly so theres no glaring and blinding ppl anyways
