Default Odometer

I bought a used Instrument cluster for my 98 F-150 to have a Tach with my manual transmission. How do I change the analog odometer mileage on my new instrument cluster to match my original instrument cluster odometer? Thanks for the help

DON'T CHANGE IT.

Where I live anyway it is illegal to mess with it. You would install that one, then take it to I believe state patrol to tell them you changed the clusters. At this point they will give you a piece of paper showing the original had X miles, and the new shows X miles.

There are a few places that can change it. You will have to google it. From what I'm told the dealer can even change it they must send them off to have the mileage corrected.

I dont know anything about this particular one, but there are often tamper proof aspects to them. Late 90s gmc would show silver bars between digits if someone messed with it.
