Hey guys, these last few weeks I have noticed on a couple different occasions the truck has been hard to start. It's an 03 5.4 with 124k. It cranked strong then failed to catch today and sputtered a couple hundred rpm and died. Tried starting again and took a few seconds to finally turn over. And this was after driving it I was coming out of fleet farm. The last time before this was when it failed to give after trying the remote start. Again this was after just driving it the truck wasn't parked long. Was going to test battery and electrical system tomorrow however it sounds strong almost like it's starved of fuel. Maybe clogged fuel filter? As far as I'm concerned it's still original...what do you guys think? Any advice? Thanks

 

Battery, alternator and starter all checked out fine. Picked up a new fuel filter, going to replace and go from there with this..
